Link with Lines

Link cells to create mind maps, storyboards and diagrams.

 

To start drawing a line, select a cell, and then drag one of its round handles.

 

Drag towards:

• Another cell to link the two together.

• Another line to join them at a particular point.

• Any empty area to create a blank linked cell.

Points on lines

Adding points to a line lets you control its shape, enabling the creation of complex diagrams.

 

To add a point, right-click the line at the desired place or select the line then click  , select Format Line then Add a Point.

 

Points appear as green handles but only when that line is selected. Drag the point to reshape the line.

Line options

When a line is selected click  and select Format Line to:

• Add Arrows to either side of the line.

• Select whether the line Style is either solid or dotted.

• Change the Width of the line.

Colour

To change the colour of selected lines, click  .

 

To delete selected lines click  .
