Write in the Document

Write in the current Document with your device's keyboard, the On-screen Keyboard, or a Clicker Set.

 

Use the Writing Support Tools for assistance while writing.

 

To undo/redo any changes, click  /  .

Format

To set the font and layout of Document text (or a section of selected text), click  :

• Font - choose a font style from the list (Clicker Writer includes the child-friendly Sassoon and Dyslexie fonts).
• Make text Bold/Italicised/Underlined.
• Size - make text larger or smaller.
• Font Colour - change the text colour.
• List - create a bulleted or numbered list.
• Align text to the left/centre/right of the Document.
• Document Background - set the background colour. Note: if opened in Clicker, this will be overridden by the users preference.

Grid Tools

These tools appear above the bottom grid area (depending on context):

 

 /  Back/Forward - move to another Grid in the sequence.

 

 Delete - delete the last inputted word/phrase.

 

 New Line - start a new line.

 

 Sound Shift - turn Sound Shift on/off.

 

 Keyboard /  Grid - switch between the Keyboard and current Clicker Set.

 

 Hide - hide/show the bottom grid area.
